WELCOME! Turn back time at The Chaney Manor B & B Inn in Mount Vernon, Ohio! This lovely manor house was built in 1823 and was home to Ohio Representative James McFarland. Get ready to be pampered like never before when you kick back in front of the fireplace to read from the classics shelved in the manor library! Ladies will love to relax in the Roman Jacuzzi Room with candles, spa products, fluffy towels and robes, and a selection of inspiring music, all presented in the glorious ambience of the 19th century! Or gather in the outdoor rooms to enjoy a meal. Freda Chaney is the hostess at the manor. She prepares breakfast, snacks and special occasion dinners. Choose from country style bacon and eggs, vegetarian, gourmet, or light/lean breakfast. You'll want to call it home!
The Chaney Manor B & B Inn has 3 spacious, beautifully appointed rooms, each with a queen bed, desk, reading chairs, Direct TV, private bath, heat/air. There are several common rooms in the B & B: the gift shop, Thoreau Room, and Music Room with baby grand piano, cello and violin. Two day minimum stay required, with a 30 day maximum stay. A 3 day minimum stay is required for some special event dates; please inquire. Rates start at $100. (no breakfast), $125.00 low season rates (with breakfast). High season rates (college visitation or graduation dates included, but are reduced for second stay guests) are $150.00 per day.
